Great Expectations.
Based primarily on the early church, as described in the book of Acts, there are six expectations of every Alameda member.
Exalt God in worship and giving.
Worship to God is a 24/7 activity that encompasses every area of our lives. Members of Alameda should take advantage of opportunities to join fellow Christians for times of worship and giving.
Encounter God in Prayer.
A key component of any relationship is communication. Our relationship with God is no different. Members of Alameda should consider prayer as a blessing and foundational element for knowing God's will and growing closer to Him.
Encourage One Another in Fellowship.
Jesus Christ and the early church demonstrated that the Christian life is meant to be lived in close community, which is why members of Alameda are expected to seek out and build meaningful relationships.
Edify Others Through Service.
Members of Alameda should make a lifestyle out of serving the church and community, following Jesus' example of sacrifice and service.
Equip Believers Through Teaching and Ministry.
Members of Alameda are expected to continually be searching for ways to grow in spiritual maturity, as well as helping others develop a deeper faith.
Evangelize Our Community and World Through Proclamation and Missions.
Every member should be involved in sharing the gospel of Christ- the church's highest priority.
